Restoration of a single anterior tooth is considered a particular challenge from an esthetic perspective, and for a long time, complex customization or characterization using staining and layering techniques appeared to be compulsory in order to achieve perfect, natural-looking results. CAD/CAM technology, combined with blocks in which a dentin center and enamel shell with a curved gradation of shade are already integrated, offers entirely new possibilities in terms of efficiency and esthetics.
